Breaking up and 2nd chances...

It's hard to make a sweeping statement on issues like this. Should u or should u not; give 2nd chances once the words roll off your/his/her tongue?

I believe everyone should get second chances in life. Otherwise how do we learn from mistakes? Sometimes in life, we make the wrong decisions. How many times can u confidently say u have thought things thru so thoroughly that there are absolutely no possible loopholes? How often can u say that u have never said things u don't mean when u are angry?
If the answer is a 100% of the time, I believe it's more of... once u have made a decision, u are too afraid to step down and say "I've made a mistake".

I'd never go down on my knees begging and whining for a 2nd chance. Indeed, that is like spitting on your dignity and selling your soul. If the person is THAT hard-hearted, I don't think I would even want a 2nd chance. Why would I want to stick around with a hard-headed egoistical fuck, who obviously does not love me enough or love himself too much, to give me a second chance?

No serious commitment has been made. You're not married. Suck it up. Move on.
There are others who are probably more than willing to give you that second chance.
Granted, easier said than done. You're scared. You're hurt. You're absolutely shattered. But that's just how life is. Just have to deal with the shite life has dished out on u. There are bigger things happening. And if you think about it, it isn't so bad after all.
